The Syosset, New York native is also the television voice of the Sacramento Kings, and also spent three years as the radio voice of the team.  Grant's spent more than 20 years in front of cameras, behind microphones, in press boxes and at courtside for many of sports' biggest events.

Grant began his broadcasting career with on-the-job training at his alma mater, Bowling Green University.  While pursuing his degree in broadcast journalism, Napear handled play-by-play for BGU's football, hockey and basketball teams.  Later, at WAND-TV in Decatur, Grant toiled away at the weekend sports anchor desk.  Grant then brought his enthusiasm to northern California:  a nine-year stint as Sports Director at Sacramento's Channel 31 (then called KRBK and later, KPWB); play-by-play duties for the San Jose Sharks and the CFL's Sacramento Gold Miners; plus a stint with Arena Football's San Jose Sabercats.  Grant also can be seen as the television voice of the Oakland Raiders, during their four pre-season telecasts on CBS' stations in Northern California.

Grant and his two sons, Trent and Chase, reside in El Dorado Hills.
On the football field, Mike was a colorful letterman at USC, where he started at tackle for the Trojans his senior season. Mike played with two Heisman trophy winners (Charles White and Marcus Allen), along with numerous NFL Hall of Famers.   In the booth, Lamb is a respected contributor to ESPN Radio; hosted "GameTime" on Fox Sports Radio for four years; and is seen weekly as the host of Comcast SportsNet's "Insider" sports discussion show.

Mike started off in television at Fox Sports Net as a correspondent, then the analyst’s booth, and ultimately the play by play announcer for the High School football broadcasts on Fox Sports Net.  He earned the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Association’s award for “Best Analyst” in 1996 and was named the Southland’s top analyst for all sports in 1997 and 1998 by the Los Angeles Daily News.  Mike’s knack for finding the humorous angle in big games while observing it’s intricacies, has landed him such coveted assignments as the Rose Bowl, the Gator Bowl, the Las Vegas Bowl, the Arena Bowl, and the Senior Bowl.
Mike and his wife Sandy have two children, Logan, 11 and Maddie, 7.

The 1984 USC graduate holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Affairs, and was named to the USC Dean's List and the Pac-10 Honor Roll.
Jodi Bacon
Executive
Producer Sportsline 1140

Jodi Bacon has been a powerful force in California sports media for the better part of a decade.  After a brief stint living both in San Diego and the Bay Area, Jodi returned to the city she grew up in and is now completing her 8th year of employment at Sports 1140 KHTK.  She currently is the producer of highly rated and critically acclaimed afternoon drive show Sportsline, hosted by Grant Napear and Mike Lamb.  If booking a guest list that often resembles and All Star Ballot or Hall of Fame inductee program weren't enough to keep this juggernaut of producing prowess busy, she must also organize and prepare show content daily and she takes a large roll in the preparation and execution of any live events the show might broadcast from.  Her versatility has served her well throughout her career, having previously produced on The Rise Guys morning show and she continues to cover numerous live sporting events for both CBS and Fox Sports.  While pulling strings behind the scenes is Jodi's forte she does not shy away from stepping in front of the camera and can be seen working on the Sports Roundtable Show on Comcast Sports Weekly.
